Your Working Hub

At Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM), part of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace, the focus is on creating critical fasteners and fittings for specialized industries like aerospace and defense. CAM integrates nine subsidiaries throughout the U.S., operating across three core segments.

Your Role and Tasks :

  • Sustain and improve machine operations with proactive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production systems.
  • Employ astute technical analysis to troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues efficiently.
  • Program and precisely set up CNC machinery, optimizing control systems for peak performance.
  • Conduct detailed repairs on high and low-voltage systems as well as hydraulic systems.
  • Meticulously document all maintenance activities, ensuring thorough records and transparency.
  • Coordinate with engineering to propel machine modifications and enhancements forward.
  • Cultivate junior staff through mentorship, bolstering their capabilities and confidence.
  • Maintain readily accessible parts and tools, enabling quick repairs and minimization of downtime.
  • Enhance safety culture by committing to standards and partaking in all training.
  • Follow comprehensive written instructions and schematics to ensure detailed task execution.

Experience and Skills :

  • At least 5 years in machinery maintenance, specifically CNC-focused.
  • Fluency in CNC programming and control systems like Siemens and Haas.
  • Ability to repair and troubleshoot complex electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong skills in reading technical diagrams and specifications.
  • Familiarity with analytical methodologies related to PLC systems.
  • Dedication to safer work practices and ongoing operational improvement.
  • Preferred Expertise :

  • Certifications in CNC machine maintenance preferable.
  • Predictive maintenance techniques experience.
  • Understanding of Industry 4.0 and related cutting-edge maintenance practices.
  • Welding skills provide a competitive edge.
  • Educational Background :

  • High school diploma required; additional manufacturing experience preferred.
