The Claims Assistant helps to facilitate the Workers Compensation process supports HR Operations and drives workplace safety & training initiatives. This role ensures regulatory compliance manages claims resolution and collaborates with HR and Legal teams to maintain consistent employee relations.

Focusing on safety and employee well-being the Claims Assistant liaises with the insurance provider medical providers and employees regarding Workers Compensation claims addresses injured employee questions & concerns and enhances Workers Compensation and safety programs. Additionally this role supports HR processes and fosters a culture of safety ethics and engagement across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Workers Compensation laws excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to manage relationships with employees management insurance providers and associated legal teams. This position plays a key role in supporting Workers Compensation management & strategy.

This is a full-time job working in our Scottsdale office.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities :

• Facilitate the entire WorkersCompensation process; including initial reporting claims handling and resolution while acting as the primary point of contact for employees with questions or concerns.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of workplace injuries and illnesses to insurance carriers and regulatory bodies including OSHA reporting requirements.
• Liaise with employees medical providers and insurance adjusters to ensure proper documentation accommodations and a safe return-to-work process.
• Track and analyze WorkersCompensation claims; identifying trends and recommending strategies to reduce incidents and improve workplace safety.
• Develop and monitor the effectiveness of return-to-work programs providing regular updates to management and proposing improvements as needed.
• Assist with creating and implementing initiatives to enhance workplace safety and foster a culture of employee well-being.
