Job Summary

The Construction Superintendent oversees day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and on budget. This role is key in maintaining OSDI’s high standards of quality and client satisfaction. We are looking for a working super who isn’t

afraid to throw on his / her bags and swing a hammer and is willing to travel up to 70% of the time as we are licensed in most western states.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage daily on-site construction activities.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries.
  • Ensure all work meets project specifications, schedule, and budget goals.
  • Enforce safety procedures and compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, inspectors, and internal project teams.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide progress reports.
  • Implement value engineering strategies to maximize efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Mentor and lead crews to maintain productivity and craftsmanship standards.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in construction.
  • Strong knowledge of remodels, tenant improvements, ground ups and general construction.
  • Proficiency in scheduling and project management software.
  • Skilled in budgeting, estimating, and cost control.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required.
