We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team focused on water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout Central Florida.

  • As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our business development and preconstruction efforts by managing the proposal development process from start to finish and helping promote the company. You’ll work closely with estimators, project managers, and executives to produce high-quality, client-focused responses to RFPs, RFQs, and SOQs.
  • Travel

    Prefer candidate be located within 30 minutes of our Lakeland, FL office

    Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel to project sites within a 60-100mile radius as needed

    Purpose and Scope

    In accordance with Vogel Bros. Building Co.’s beliefs / values / mission / vision, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing the development and submission of high-quality, client-focused proposals and bid packages for construction projects. This role supports the teams by collaborating with business development, estimating, preconstruction, marketing, and project management teams to ensure timely, accurate, and strategic responses to RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitations. The coordinator oversees the full proposal process—including content gathering, formatting, and production—while ensuring compliance with client requirements and alignment with company standards. Additionally, the role maintains proposal templates, tracks submission metrics, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts in pursuit strategies and presentation materials, while also supporting general marketing efforts, brand visibility, and internal culture.

    Proposal & Pursuit Support (Primary Focus)

  • Monitor sources of industry-related market information
  • Assist preconstruction team with the creation and formatting of qualification packages, proposals, and interview presentations for Florida pursuits. ensuring consistent brand presentation.
  • Maintain and organize specific project materials, including updated project sheets, resumes, photo / video assets, and fact sheets.
  • Coordinate with project teams and leadership to gather relevant pursuit content.
  • Maintain Scheduling and tracking systems for individual pursuit and proposal elements and status.
  • Assist in developing pursuit plans and client outreach activities ahead of RFP release.
  • Help produce SOQ / proposals, including editing and graphics; prepare for digital or print reproduction.
  • Gather content from team and consultants as needed.
  • Maintain systems to extract, categorize, and retrieve information related to clients, consultants, personnel, projects, prior to proposals, boilerplate, visuals, and mailing lists.
  • Work with Preconstruction team to help manage seller-doer schedules to maintain regular client interactions.
  • Track pre-submittal meeting schedules and attendees, and identify decision-makers working with the pre-con team.
  • Record and distribute notes from pre-submittal and public sector meetings.
  • Jobsite Signage & Branded Materials

  • Oversee ordering and placement of jobsite signage (project banners, safety boards, directional signage).
  • Ensure signs meet local codes, client standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Project Marketing & Photography

  • Visit active job sites regularly to capture project progress photos, videos, and success stories.
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather milestone updates and client testimonials for case studies or marketing content.
  • Recruiting Support

  • Partner with HR to create and distribute Florida-specific recruitment materials.
  • Promote culture through social media and internal communications—team wins, safety celebrations, training, new hires, etc.
  • Collaboration with Madison

  • Sync regularly with the Madison marketing team to share updates, content needs, and upcoming initiatives.
  • Contribute Florida-specific content to company-wide updates, social channels, and proposals.
  • Secondary Focus on Responsibilities

    Local Brand Awareness & Community Engagement

  • Represent Vogel Bros. at Florida-based community events, job fairs, and industry functions.
  • Assist with organizing or supporting local events
  • Competitor Research & Industry Trends

  • Stay informed on competitor activity, marketing tactics, and local construction industry trends.
  • Office & Culture Promotion

  • Create and maintain visual content for the Florida office (feature wall, BVMV).
  • Assist with planning and promoting internal events (holiday parties, team outings, safety weeks).
  • Marketing Operations

  • Coordinate with vendors for local printing, signage, and branded gear.
  • Ensure brand consistency in all local materials and communications in alignment with the Vogel brand.
  • Identify and coordinate local advertising opportunities in trade publications and digital platforms.
  • Monitor effectiveness of advertising campaigns
  • Assist with the design and installation of branded graphics throughout the Lakeland office to reflect Vogel Bros.' identity and culture.

  • Requirements :

    Education and Experience

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing or construction : one to three years of experience recommended
  • No degree : three to five years of relevant A / E / C experience required
  • 3-7 years of experience or equivalent education and experience in A / E / C industry.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge and solid understanding of the basic marketing and business development principles, including the go / no-go process
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, database concepts, and industry-standard digital, video production, and graphic design software
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies used for developing client presentations, communications, and proposal materials (digital and print)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
  • High attention to detail and strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy and quality of all work
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of personalities and work styles across departments
  • Passion for professional development and engagement with industry and community organizations such as SMPS, AIA, ACEC, AGC, ULI, and PWC
  • Ability to use Adobe InDesign and Suites
  • Physical Requirements
