POSITION : SANDER / CARPENTER HELPER

COMPANY PROFILE :

HOLLY HUNT  is known for a look that is consistently at the forefront of style and quality. The company designs, produces and showcases custom made furniture products.

POSITION PROFILE :

Performs the components sanding and supports assembly of furniture units from a kit of components previously prepared and tailored for fitting.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Sand furniture units and or components,
  • Support assemblers of products : Product completion per Production ScheduleMeet all critical dimensions and product characteristics.Maintain work station clean, organized and safe.Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required.Maintain the time sheet accurate and on time.Observe all company policies and standard practices.Participate on all required continuous improvement activities.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications

  • No previous experience of carpentry.
  • Proficient using equipment and hand tools such : Electrical tools : Drill, screw driver, sander.Hand tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced team environment while managing multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and flawless results.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organization and be a team member
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or work experience which demonstrates performance competency
