LHH has partnered with a thriving industry leading company in search for a Payroll Specialist. This position is the sole contributor responsible for managing and processing payroll for approximately 150 employees.

Responsibilities of this Payroll Specialist job include :

Process weekly and semi-monthly payroll for 150 employees on a weekly and semi-monthly basis.

Review all timesheets and edit reports for accuracy.

Resolve all payroll issues all while ensuring strict compliance.

Allocation of meal break, rest periods, and overtime penalties.

Prepare federal and state tax payments.

Track and deduct all garnishments and other payroll deductions.

Payroll GL reconciliations and monthly reporting to CFO.

Prepare manual checks as necessary.

Address payroll related questions including, leave accruals, wage deductions and fringe benefits.

Perform routine payroll reporting and assist in financial audits.

Minimum qualifications :

3+ years in a payroll capacity.

Experienced with state and federal regulations.

Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word).

Attentive to detail, excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Self-motivated, proactive solution seeker, outgoing, and positive attitude.

Pay Details : $29.00 to $34.00 per hour
