Programmer

Job Summary :

The Programmer will work on software development projects as needed for the company, primarily using Microsoft and Workday development platforms and tools.

Essential Functions :

• Create, troubleshoot, and maintain software applications, processes, and reports as needed
• Work with other developers to ensure code is standardized and cohesive
• Ensure code, intellectual property, and other programming assets are documented and securely stored using agreed upon best practices
• Work with management, other team members, and users to determine business needs / requirements
• Facilitate and / or program import and export routines to exchange data with appropriate systems and parties
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Competence with languages, environments, and platforms including, but not limited to Visual Studio, .NET, C#, , JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, T-SQL, Azure, Git, Workday

Competence with Microsoft SQL Server database management tools and environments

Competence of data security methods / practices

Competence of web service technologies

Knowledge of business hardware, software, and networks

Required Education and Experience :

Required : Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting Information Systems or equivalent

Preferred : Any applicable certifications
