• Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD, LTD & 401k plans Employment Status : Full-Time, hourly Position Summary The Personnel Assistant I provides basic administrative and customer service support within the MPF, focusing on identification card issuance, records updates, and assisting with personnel program tasks in accordance with Air Force and DoD policies.
• Key Duties and Responsibilities Process Common Access Card (CAC) and ID card requests, verify eligibility through DEERS, and complete forms such as DD 1172-2.
• Assist customers in updating Servicemembers’ Group Life Insurance (SGLI) and Family SGLI elections via SOES.
• Conduct initial screening of documents for personnel actions such as marriage, divorce, or name changes.
• Retrieve and revoke ID cards upon separation or loss of eligibility.
• Maintain secure control of card stock and accountable forms.
• Provide basic guidance to members and dependents regarding benefits and secondary dependency applications.
• Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1–2 years of administrative or customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
• Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with DEERS / RAPIDS or similar military personnel systems.
