Overview

The Automation Engineering Support Tech will assist the automation team in providing technical support, executing projects, and maintaining automation systems at FUJIFILM Biotechnologies. This part-time role exists to enhance operational efficiency and support organizational objectives.

Job Description

Essential Functions :

Assist in basic support and troubleshooting of automation systems.
Participate in maintaining functional specifications and standard operating procedures.
Aid in carrying out system software updates and upgrades.
Collaborate with team members to support data integrity programs.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities :

No prior professional experience required; exposure to automation protocols and systems during coursework is preferred.

Basic understanding of automation and engineering concepts.

Strong communication skills.

Proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements :

Experience prolonged sitting and standing.

Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.

Support company manufacturing activities as needed.

Minimum Qualifications :

High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications :

Course of study preferred at bachelor’s level in electrical, mechanical, chemical Engineering or equivalent.

Interest in biotechnology or pharmaceutical systems.

Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.

Previous internship experience in a biotechnology company or related is a plus.
