Job Overview

This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall operational excellence of a legal department. This role involves a mix of administrative, project management, technical, and analytical responsibilities, ensuring the legal department operates smoothly and effectively.

Process Support and Improvement :

  • Support development, implementation, and maintenance of efficient processes and procedures for legal department activities, such as entity management, e-billing, and knowledge management.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • General daily legal operations tasks such as system ticket creation and management.

Knowledge Management Resource Support :

  • Develop and maintain knowledge management resources, such as templates, forms, and letterhead.
  • Organize and maintain document repositories and filing systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration :

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance, IT, and Procurement, to align legal operations with broader business goals.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Project Management Support :

  • Provide project management support for various legal initiatives, including project planning, status tracking, and task management.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Skills and Qualifications :

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills / solution oriented.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity in legal technology and software.
  • General project management experience.
  • Knowledge of legal operations principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with e-billing and entity management systems.
