About Us & What We Need

We are a full-service accounting firm that focuses on clients in the home care industry. We are experiencing rapid growth and are looking for an accountant to handle a client set of 10-15 clients.

The ideal candidate will have accounting, financial reporting and financial planning and analysis experience. Public accounting experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience handling multiple client accounts simultaneously.

We encourage curiosity. Sometimes we know the answer, sometimes we don’t. What’s most important is asking a question if we need help finding it.

We are a ‘mom owned’ business and believe in integrating work into life and not vice versa. We like to think of ourselves as a progressive firm, helping to modernize the accounting interesting and having a bit of fun while doing it.

Key Responsibilities

Categorizing bank feed transactions in Quickbooks Online. This includes troubleshooting and researching transactions that may need additional work.

Performing month end journal entries.

Performing month end reconciliations.

Month end variance analysis to identify areas that need additional research or adjustment.

Finalizing month end books.

You will be assigned a client book of 10 – 15 clients depending on client size.

Skills Required

Knowledge of Quickbooks Online

Proficient in Excel

Prior experience in the home care or elder care industry preferred
