Senior Accounting Manager

Starface is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join our growing Finance team. Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you'll support the backbone of our financial operations, blending technical expertise with hands-on execution, and helping to further develop the foundation that will support Starface's continued growth.

We'll count on you to...

• Partner closely with the Head of Accounting and the finance team to support core corporate accounting functions including financial reporting, technical accounting, and auditing.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring the accuracy of books and records to build a solid foundation for financial reporting and decision-making.
• Conduct account reconciliations across all balance sheets and P&L accounts in conjunction with the team.
• Prepare timely, accurate financial and operational reporting across departments.
• Partner with the finance team to maintain alignment between reporting and analysis and Starface's strategic goals.
• Support execution of day-to-day, month-end, and year-end accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and the general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with ASC and GAAP standards.
• Support management of tax filings (corporate, sales, payroll) and coordinate with external partners on audits, insurance, and tax functions as needed.
• Heavily utilize NetSuite, partnering with the team to drive data migration and system enhancements as needed.
• Partner with the Accounting & Finance team to further develop accounting processes and controls to support long-term growth.
• Assist in managing cost of goods sold, prepaid inventory, and inventory reconciliation, providing leadership with ad-hoc pricing / margin analysis.
• Partner the Head of Accounting to deliver key insights and respond to requests.
• Act as a trusted partner to cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and communication.
