Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter, preferably in the NGO sector or a related industry. In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, sourcing techniques, and candidate evaluation methods. Demonstrated ability to identify and attract top talent for a wide range of positions, from entry-level to senior roles. Strong understanding of diversity and inclusion principles and the ability to promote a diverse workforce. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers. High level of professionalism, ethics, and discretion when dealing with confidential information. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software. Passion for the NGO sector and a genuine commitment to the organization’s mission. Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. Experience working with international recruitment. Familiarity with talent branding and employer branding strategies.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for various roles within the NGO.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs, job requirements, and team dynamics to create comprehensive job descriptions and candidate profiles.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals, to identify potential candidates.
- Conduct thorough candidate screenings and assessments to evaluate their skills, experience, and alignment with the NGO’s values and mission.
- Coordinate and conduct interviews, ensuring a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
- Recommend and implement improvements to the recruitment process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with the HR team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires, assisting with paperwork and orientation as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in talent acquisition and incorporate them into the NGO’s recruitment strategies.
- Provide regular reports and insights on recruitment metrics and progress to the management team.
- Willing to work as an unpaid employee.
