Objective
The primary function of the Quality Manager is to perform inspections of products and record quality results and when applicable, oversee Inspectors performing the same.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Determine that all technical data on all articles maintained or altered by the Repair Station are secured and kept current with latest revisions. This data will include Repair Station process specification on limited rating specialized services, manufacturer's maintenance and overhaul manuals, service bulletins, part specifications FAA airworthiness directives, related FAA data, and other technical data used by the Repair Station.
- Performs inspection of aircraft systems, equipment and parts for operation and conformance to government (both FAA and NAVAIR) and company standards and specifications
- Inspects the installation, repair and operation of electrical wiring, electronic systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, oil and emergency systems and other parts and equipment of aircraft
- Inspects adjustments, structural and electrical repairs or modifications made on the aircraft in accordance with applicable aircraft maintenance Technical Orders (T.O.), TCTO's, work orders, work cards, aircraft structural repair manuals and modifications
- Maintain the Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual and Training Manual
- Perform Receiving Inspections on all incoming raw materials and purchased parts
- Perform machined parts inspections, weld inspections, and electrical inspections
- Proficient in blueprint reading / interpretation and shop mathematics

Reporting Relationship
This position reports to the COO.
Work Environment
This position works inside a hangar and outside in all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft. This position may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a non-exempt position.
This position includes shift work which requires working evenings and weekends, and on scheduled company holidays.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
