Quality Inspector

Job Description

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products released for customer shipments meet quality standards. This role involves performing inspection and testing in accordance with prints, drawings, and test work instructions, maintaining inspection records, and calibrating equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and testing in accordance with prints, drawings, and test work instructions.
• Maintain inspection records of production parts checked.
• Conduct 1st piece inspections, in-process inspections, and sample final inspections.
• Calibrate equipment and create records as needed.
• Utilize test equipment to ensure conformance to prescribed standards.
• Read and comprehend written instructions.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Work Environment

HARTING Americas is a clean, lean manufacturing environment that is well-lit and climate-controlled. The facility is split into departments for separate assembly, and candidates will work in the Harting Cable Solutions department. Each candidate will have their own station or rotate stations, ensuring an organized and efficient work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00 / hr.
