We are looking for a Division Order Analyst to join our team. This is a full-time, in-person position, located in our Midland, Texas office. This role will be responsible for verifying and maintaining ownership records of Montegos properties, ensuring accurate revenue distributions, as well as processing deeds, division owners, ownership changes, operator communications for properties located throughout the US. Key emphasis will be on ensuring wells are correctly in-pay status. The role requires precise attention to detail and strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure accurate and timely processing of these transactions. Montego is made up of high performing team members, who can self-manage workload, implement process improvements, and contribute to the overall success of our entire organization. NOTE how should we add that this position is somewhat different than a DVO at an Operator?Key Responsibilities Review and analyze division orders, deeds and other recording documentation for accurate registration and title, including preparing new documents when changes are needed. Analyze and confirm the purchased decimal of interest (DOI) for oil and gas wells on division orders. Prepare and record deeds. Communicate with landowners, operators, partner organizations, and attorneys to resolve any disputes or issues. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and spreadsheets. Complete quarterly audits of properties and portfolios. Required Qualifications Previous experience in oil & gas preferably in the Permian Basin, in a relevant field such as oil & gas administration, energy management, business, or finance. Proficiency with Microsoft software suite, and demonstrated capacity with other software (MineralSoft, Enverus, Drillinginfo.com, etc.); use of Railroad Commission data, and / or County deed recording information. Ability to prioritize, and manage time efficiently, and be comfortable working with colleagues in team focused environment Consistently positive and professional, practicing confidentiality among clients and staff Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under pressure of deadlines Additional Certifications a plus (DOC, CDOA, RPL, CPL, etc.) Benefits : Medical and dental insurance paid by employer.
