Park Avenue Group a subsidiary of Angott Search Group has partnered with a leading $1 billion credit union in Florida in their search for an experienced SQL / DBA Analyst. This role is crucial for ensuring the stability performance and security of the credit unions database-driven systems.
As a SQL / DBA Analyst youll play a central role in maintaining developing and architecting database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies. Youll work closely with the applications and IT teams to ensure database optimization security and availability. This position requires a proactive problem-solver who can handle a wide range of responsibilities from performing ad hoc database restores to assisting with business application upgrades and providing after-hours support. Youll also be responsible for maintaining comprehensive documentation and adhering to all compliance standards including BSA and OFAC.
Experience : Experience in the financial services industry or a similar production / service environment is preferred. A proven track record in technical problem resolution and systems integration is highly desired.
Technical Skills : General knowledge of relational databases and database management systems (e.g. SQL Server Oracle).
Education : A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering MIS or a related discipline is preferred or at least 3 years of equivalent work experience and technical training.
Personal Attributes : Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills. Must be a detail-oriented independent worker with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
