We are seeking an accurate, detail-driven Cash Applications Specialist to join our clients finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily processing of client payments, trust deposits, and related transactions while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with firm procedures. You will work closely with colleagues, clients, and financial institutions to ensure all payments are applied correctly and efficiently.

Core Responsibilities :

Accurately process all forms of client payments on a daily basis.

Properly identify and process incoming client trust deposits in compliance with firm policies.

Navigate multiple firm online banking platforms to review and reconcile client payment activity.

Respond promptly and accurately to internal and external inquiries regarding payments.

Research client payment history and assist with correction or reapplication of payments as needed.

Gather and prepare data for audit requests.

Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Maintain strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 3 years of related experience; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.

Proficiency with financial applications such as Elite, Chrome River, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and online banking systems.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels and maintain the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality.
