A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Systems Engineering Project Manager.
Position Type : Full-Time Contract
Duration : 5 months with possible extension
Location : Kent, WA-onsite
As a Systems Engineering Project Manager, you will :
- Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
- Evaluates customer / operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
- Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and / or system architecture.
- Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
- Develops, maintains, and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
- Work with Software Engineering Subject Matter Experts to collect basis of estimates for contract proposals.
- Review, revise and / or establish statement of work and scope as defined by contract language.
- Organize materials and facilitate discussion with senior manager for review of final estimates.
- Consult and support reviews with contracts and pricing concerning estimates.
- Coordinate activities and deliverables with Contract Proposal Lead daily to ensure team estimates are progressing to plan.
- Analyze and articulate the impact of changes in the software mission systems on cost, schedule, and engineering baselines
- Assist in the maintenance of documentation and change record management to capture new proposal / change initiatives
