Branch Manager III
The Branch Manager III is responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of one or more full service branch offices. This includes the promotion of bank products and services that support overall company goals. Generally $60 million or more in combined deposits. They may also be responsible for specific market dynamics.
Essential duties and responsibilities include partnering with management to coordinate and attain branch, region, and company objectives; coaching and leading a strong support team of retail staff; complying with all company policies and procedures; ensuring all retail or branch operational functions are performed accurately and timely; maintaining and developing business for the branch; participating in civic and community organizations as needed; completing regular monthly branch audits; ensuring all security procedures are strictly followed; mitigating monetary losses by utilizing good judgement and sound decision making skills in managing the daily operations of the branch(es); conducting regular staff meetings to keep staff informed; completing annual performance review in a timely manner and disciplinary action as needed; maintaining a safe and professional business environment; participating in regular SWOT analysis for competitive advantage; lifting coin bags up to 50lbs; reviewing, evaluating, and determining payment decisions within established limits per company policies and standards; making hiring and termination staffing decisions / recommendations; providing wire verification / approvals up to established limits; providing cashier's check approvals within established limits, and discretionary placement of regulation cashier's check holds; approving fee refunds / waivers within established regional guidelines; seeking out opportunities to interact with customers and making customer service a top priority in the branch; researching and resolving customer questions and concerns; working in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner; completing required BSA / AML training and other compliance training as assigned; and performing any other related duties as required or assigned.

Education and experience : Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 5 years related experience and / or training, and 2 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Communication skills : Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy / procedure manuals; Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical skills : Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Critical thinking skills : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats.
