Accounts Payable Manager

Location : Metro Atlanta

Remote Position (On-site periodically)

Compensation : $100–110K

Vaco is partnering with a growing, multi-site healthcare organization that is actively seeking an Accounts Payable Manager in the metro ATL market. The ideal candidate will have strong AP experience, AP supervisory / leadership experience along with Workday Financial ERP. This role is mostly remote but only local ATL market candidates will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the AP team of 5+ employees, ensuring high performance and collaboration

Oversee invoice processing, payment accuracy, and vendor relationships

Develop and optimize AP procedures for compliance and efficiency

Analyze AP data for financial reporting and risk management

Ensure timely resolution of discrepancies and inquiries

Maintain adherence to KPIs (e.g., invoice cycle time, aging reports, on-time payments)

Requirements

Education : Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)

8-10+ years’ experience in accounts payable (required)

3-5+ years in a management / supervisory role of a team of 5+ employees (required)

Workday Financial (required) or multi-site healthcare industry experience with other large ERPs

Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, formulas, etc.)

Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls

Ability to work independently and remotely (Local metro ATL candidates will only be considered)
