Job Posting
This position is responsible for the implementation, administration, support, and maintenance of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), industrial communication systems, and network infrastructure within our water and wastewater operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in process automation, network and server administration, and control systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems in a utility environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC systems.
- Configure and calibrate instrumentation and control devices.
- Develop, support, and maintain hardware and software for SCADA systems, network infrastructure (WAN / LAN), and server environments.
- Support and troubleshoot industrial communications and electronic relay-logic control panels.
- Administer and maintain security systems related to SCADA and control environments.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation, reports, logs, and daily activity summaries.
- Interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for project implementation.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

Retirees of the Investment Plan are eligible for renewed membership in the Investment Plan only. FRS reemployment rules apply for both.
