Plant Maintenance Technician Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled and dependable Plant Maintenance Technician to join a large plastic material manufacturing and forwarding facility in Pasadena, TX. This well-established company is a leader in producing and distributing high-quality plastic materials used across multiple industries. Pay Rate
$23.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule & Hours
Training time (7am to 3 : 30pm Monday to Friday) Shift : 10 : 00 pm - 6 : 30 am (Overtime & weekends as needed) Plant Maintenance Technician Duties & Responsibilities
- Interact with production employees, QA, and other maintenance technicians to improve and maximize plant output, efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Utilize process improvement techniques, tools, and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and repair plant machinery and equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
- Follow preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and prevent equipment failure.
- Ensure consistent production of quality products through monitoring of processes, raw materials, and finished products.
- Record, document, and report maintenance activities, data, and performance metrics. Plant Maintenance Technician Qualifications & Requirements
- 1–3 years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and concentration skills.
- Must be able to work in manufacturing conditions (heat, noise, confined areas).
- Ability to read and comprehend technical procedures in English.
- Basic PLC knowledge is a plus, but not required.
