Test & Evaluation Engineer (Flight / Mission / System Test)

Boeing Phantom Works is seeking a Test & Evaluation Engineer to support proprietary activities in Las Vegas, NV. The individual selected for this position will serve as a Flight Test Engineer on a test team charged with integrating, testing, and evaluating state-of-the-art technologies. Primary responsibilities include test article preparation, configuration control, maintenance and inspections, test article modifications, test planning and execution support, real-time control room support, and test reporting associated with test programs for critical customer-directed technology maturation.

Note : Primarily 1st shift. However, off-shift work and time away from home will be required on a regular basis.

Position Responsibilities :

• Primary interface between maintenance and engineering personnel
• Formulate and communicate daily plans to ensure coordinated actions among test team personnel
• Coordinate and monitor preparation of test article configuration and instrumentation requirements required to perform tests
• Ensure maintenance, inspection, and modification work performed on test article is appropriately tracked and documented
• Track and manage configuration of test article including inventory and mass properties
• Brief maintenance, inspection, and configuration of test article prior to test events
• Coordinate requirements for special test equipment and support equipment
• Implement and enforce safety protocols during test procedures
• Assist test conductors during real-time test execution in control room environment
• Prepare and publish test reports

This position is expected to be 100% on site. The selected candidate will be required to work on site at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. TOP SECRET security clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (Note : A U.S. security clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Associate level (level 2) : $85,850 - $116,150
