Job Summary

We are looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. In this high-visibility role, you will support total company financial consolidation and reporting across all of HD Supply. You'll work with large, complex datasets from multiple business units, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and actionable insights that directly support executive decision-making. This is a fast-paced, high-exposure position that requires strong technical skills, business curiosity, common sense, and a go-getter attitude. You'll be presenting to leadership regularly and collaborating closely with FP&A, Accounting, and business unit stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support enterprise-level financial consolidation across all HD Supply business units, aligning with corporate standards for accuracy and consistency.
• Gather, validate, and normalize financial data from multiple internal systems and sources.
• Prepare and deliver consolidated reporting packages, variance analyses, and executive-level presentations as part of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
• Analyze actuals vs. budget / forecast, identify and explain key performance drivers and trends.
• Maintain and continuously improve financial models, reporting tools, and documentation.
• Define and document data sources, assumptions, methodologies, and known limitations.
• Respond to ad hoc analysis and reporting requests with clarity and precision.
• Ask smart questions when numbers don't align and take initiative to resolve discrepancies.
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Accounting, and business leadership to ensure reporting relevance and accuracy.
• Support strategic decisions by providing meaningful recommendations backed by data.
