Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Design integration and release of electrical / electronic components software and architecture requirements for heavy and medium duty commercial truck vehicles.
- Integrate and release management of embedded electronics software to support vehicle hardware integration.
- Complete engineering change notice documentation to manage old and new software and use proprietary software to issue part bid requests.
- Understand electronics engineering requirements specification and work with project management processes to maintain schedule budget scope and functionality.
- Plan and track verification and validation of components and fully integrated software solutions.
- Support launch at truck assembly plants as needed and resolve field issues as identified.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with product definition software developers suppliers mechanical engineers manufacturing engineers and other professionals to ensure quality delivery.
- Demonstrated planning budgeting and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork mentoring collaboration and cross-functional communication skills.
Qualifications & Skills
B.S. in Electrical Engineering Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent degree required.
Awareness of automotive medium and heavy-duty commercial truck regulations.
Knowledge of Azure DevOps DNG ALM Quality center
