Summary :

We are seeking a full-time skilled and detail-oriented Moldmaker to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, repairing, and maintaining precision molds used in production. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with machining, CNC equipment, and mold fabrication, with a strong understanding of technical drawings and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Set up and run high-speed CNC machining centers
• Read and interpret complex mold designs and blueprints
• Conduct precision measurements using micrometers and other measuring instruments
• Operate and program electrical discharge machines (EDM) and other advanced manufacturing processes
• Perform precision surface grinding to ensure critical tolerances
• Fit and hand-work shut-offs and interlocks to achieve proper mold functionality
• Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Troubleshoot and repair existing molds as needed
• Collaborate with other team members to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and improve productivity
• Weld components together as needed

Language Ability :

Ability to read and write in English, with solid understanding of proper grammar usage, sentence structure with average (or above average) spelling skills.
