Lennar is seeking a CAD Drafter to be responsible for production and maintenance of residential working drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software platforms. Applicant must be skilled in AutoCAD and Revit software and have a working knowledge of Single Family and Multi Family Residential construction.

Responsibilities :

  • Using AutoCAD, must be able to produce and maintain multiple projects at one time.
  • Maximize team productivity and deliver professional integrity.
  • May be asked to review and approve the work of third-party design consultants.
  • Present work in a manner to ensure satisfaction or make revisions as necessary.
  • Knowledge in all of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Perform a variety of tasks and offer extensive problem-solving skill-set.
  • Ensure architectural work is completed on time.
  • Maintain CAD standards and specifications.
  • Knowledge of code compliance in all jurisdictions; city, county, state, international.
  • Prepare CAD drawing for submittals, permit approvals, field change orders, construction documents.
  • File management.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications :

  • Minimum Two (2) years of experience in drafting / design for high-volume production homebuilding operation.
  • Two(2) four(4) years AutoCAD (or higher) experience in Architectural discipline preferred.
  • Associate's degree or higher in Architecture, Drafting / Design or related discipline.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to perform accurate, consistent and detail-oriented work with simultaneously deadlines.
  • Must be highly motivated.
  • Must be able to handle constructive feedback and work in a team environment.

    • General Overview of Compensation & Benefits :

    We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an hourly rate of $22.97 - $34, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor / living, etc.), and operational considerations.
