Responsibilities will include :

  • Preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations and trusts
  • Preparing tax extensions
  • Year end tax projections
  • Tax Research
  • Generating trial balances and financial statements
  • Responding to IRS and other taxing authority notices
  • Proactively communicating with clients to obtain necessary information and provide tax and financial feedback

Requirements include :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Proficiency in both general and accounting related computer software (experience with CCH Axcess, QuickBooks and Office 365 are a plus)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with other members of the firm
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and prioritize assignments'
