Position Information :

Are you passionate about integrative healthcare and wanting to make a difference in the lives of your patients? NWHSU is seeking a self-motivated and dedicated Chiropractic Provider to join our Bloomington Clinic. As part of our dynamic team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to an integrative practice, delivering high-quality and evidence-based care, working alongside like-minded professionals who are committed to whole-person wellness. We are looking for a provider that wants to build a successful practice within our supportive clinical setting.

Work Location : Bloomington, MN in-person

Duties :

  • Provide various chiropractic techniques and modalities to clinic patients.
  • Manages patient care with the approved policies and procedures of the NWHSU clinic system and within clinical scope of practice.
  • Provide the highest quality care possible utilizing best practices and assist each patient to reach his or her goals while maintaining a strong clinician / patient relationship ensuring patient satisfaction.
  • Perform physical examinations, take patient histories, define goals and desired outcomes.
  • Monitor patient progress and ensure appropriate follow up care. Refer patients to internal or external healthcare professions as necessary and indicated by clinical findings.
  • Conduct patient education regarding clinical nutrition, lifestyle, or dietary recommendations.
  • Complete all necessary patient documentation in accordance with established university policies using the university electronic health record system.
  • Maintain licensure.
  • Manage equitable patient load to meet individual and clinical goals.
  • Participate in public speaking, community event activities, and / or publish articles in newspaper / media sources for purposes of increasing patient utilization of University clinics.
  • Attend meetings and required clinic in services i.e. : coding and documentation; HIPAA training; CPR; blood-borne pathogen, etc.

    • What you need to have?

  • Completion of a Doctor of Chiropractic program accredited by the CCE and all NBCE boards
  • Licensed DC eligible to practice in the state of Minnesota and in good standing
  • Experience with practice building and demonstrating positive relationships with third-party payers
  • Proficient in conducting research and assessing resource validity

    • Other Specialized Knowledge / Skills :

  • Certification or diplomate level completion of advanced areas of chiropractic specialties which may include but are not limited to pediatrics / pregnancy care, rehabilitation, neurology by an accredited program, preferred.
  • Experience working in an integrative care setting, preferred.

    Compensation :

    This position offers a transitional base salary over the first 8 months, in addition to a revenue-sharing model. After the initial period, compensation will transition fully to a revenue-sharing model.
