Safety Compliance : Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Freight Handling : Assist with loading and unloading freight as necessary, often using hand trucks or pallet jacks. Route Optimization : Follow efficient delivery routes and adjust as needed to meet delivery deadlines. Experience : 1+ year of professional driving experience preferred. Education : High School Diploma or GED preferred. License : Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record. Screening : Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Compensation : $23.00 - $27.00 an hour, based on experience and location. Classification : Non-Exempt, subject to all applicable state and federal laws. Lifting and Carrying : Ability to lift, carry, and move loads that may weigh up to 50 pounds or more, often multiple times a day. Pushing and Pulling : Capability to push and pull products, sometimes using hand trucks or pallet jacks, often up to 2500 pounds with assistance. Standing and Walking : Frequent standing and walking around the vehicle and in and out of customer locations throughout the day. Bending, Kneeling, and Crouching : Regular bending, kneeling, or crouching for loading, unloading, and securing cargo. Endurance and Stamina : Ability to sit for long hours while driving and work extended shifts, sometimes up to 10-12 hours. Adaptability to Weather Conditions : Ability to work in various weather conditions, and extreme temperatures, as well as adjust driving and loading / unloading practices to ensure safety in these environments.

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Class C Driver to handle local pickup and delivery operations within the area.
