Job Summary and Qualifications

Position Summary :

Provides clinical management to the department through organizing, coordinating, and monitoring the care provided to yield quality patient outcomes. The Manager will assume clinic accountability to include fiscal, human resource, and operational functions. Demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in the care of patients in the Burn Clinic. Assists administration in meeting and achieving all goals, targets, and regulatory compliance for the Burn Clinic. Performs outreach and education to internal and external customers.

II. Position Requirements :

A. Licensure / Certification / Registration :

Current Registered Nurse / Physical Therapist / Occupational Therapist with license in the State of Colorado or current RN multistate license preferred.

Education :

Bachelor Science Nursing or Bachelors degree in health related field required. Masters preferred.

B. Experience :

Minimum of 5 years clinical experience required. Previous burn experience preferred. Previous leadership experience preferred.

C. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :

Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the outpatient clinic process. Demonstrates the ability to plan and provide for delivery of nursing and therapy services. Ability to recognize the needs and concerns of people and to maintain constructive relationships in dealing with them. Ability to communicate effective orally and in writing. Participates in counseling and guidance of personnel. Acts as a representative of administration for patient care. Ability to assume complete clinic responsibility for integration of interpersonal aspects in all patient care. Ability to assume leadership role with the health team in planning and delivery of patient care. Recognized personal responsibility in striving for innovative health care delivery which meets contemporary needs and assumes leadership in negotiating for changes in health care.
