The Corporate Communications Team

The Corporate Communications team manages all external communications including executive communications, corporate social media, and industry analyst relations and identifies forward-thinking opportunities to creatively and effectively position Wolfspeed. The team partners cross-functionally to align and amplify messaging, influence external stakeholders, and elevate leadership vision and strategy.

The Day-to-Day

• Working with Head of Corporate Marketing and Communications, develop and implement strategic external communications plans, including the corporate PR plan and calendar, to enhance brand visibility, reputation, and credibility in the marketplace and communities we operate.
• Identify, package, and proactively promote customer, partner, and other corporate news that advance business objectives and broad brand awareness.
• Build thought leadership program and drive the company's narrative and key messages, including writing communications materials, such as press releases, executive blogs, media pitches, op-eds, bylined articles, interview and event briefing documents, and executive talking points.
• Proactively identify relevant industry and trend topics being covered by the media on which Wolfspeed can comment and coordinate responses to generate media coverage.
• Track, report and optimize global media coverage in both earned and occasionally, paid opportunities.
• Develop and execute company's social media presence to ensure consistency in messaging and brand representation.
• Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, legal, product management and others. As part of this, provide communications guidance to regional marketing teams in other markets.
