Your Role

In this role, you'll start each day reviewing project documentation to fully understand system requirements and assembly specifications. You'll use a wide range of mechanical tools and equipment to build and assemble automation systems with accuracy and efficiency. Quality will be at the forefront - you'll inspect components and verify assemblies meet ATC's high standards throughout every stage of production.

Team collaboration is key. You'll work closely with engineers and fellow technicians to troubleshoot challenges, document processes, and suggest improvements that drive innovation and reliability. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is a fundamental part of how you'll ensure every build meets both performance and safety standards.

What You'll Bring

Success in this position requires a strong mechanical foundation and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. You'll need to be able to interpret detailed mechanical drawings and schematics, understand automation systems, and apply hands-on skills to complex builds. Strong communication and teamwork will help you stay aligned with project goals while maintaining ATC's commitment to quality and safety.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of experience in custom machine building or automotive repair
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment such as mills, lathes, and grinders
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; adaptability in fast-paced environments
• Skilled in using inspection tools for precision part and assembly verification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
