Warehouse Janitor and Tool Crib Organizer

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Position Overview : We are seeking a reliable and proactive individual to fill the role of Warehouse Janitor and Tool Crib Organizer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in our warehouse facilities, while also ensuring the efficient management and distribution of tools from the tool crib. The successful candidate will play a vital role in upholding safety standards and promoting a productive work environment.

Responsibilities :

• Cleanliness and Maintenance :
• Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness in all warehouse areas, including offices, restrooms, and break rooms.
• Empty trash bins regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as necessary.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department.
• Organization of Warehouse :
• Maintain overall organization in the warehouse, ensuring items are properly stored and labeled.
• Arrange and stack pallets, boxes, and other materials in an orderly and accessible manner.
• Assist in inventory management by accurately updating records of incoming and outgoing supplies.
• Safely operate forklifts or other required machinery to move and store materials.
• Tool Crib Management :
• Oversee the tool crib and inventory, ensuring tools are properly stored, organized, and accounted for.
• Monitor tool check-in and check-out processes, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to track and manage tool repairs and maintenance.
• Conduct regular inventory inspections and reorder supplies as needed.
• Safety and Compliance :
• Adhere to all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace.
• Proactively identify potential safety hazards and report them to management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and protocols, including security measures.
