The RF R&D Team is seeking an entry-level engineer to work on high frequency RF products. The primary responsibilities of this position are to work with engineering teams to define, document, design, deploy and sustain NI-branded products tailored to meet specific customer requirements for engineering solutions. The ideal candidate has a background and knowledge regarding RF circuit and electromagnetic theory.
This entry level RF Design Engineer position is a multi-functional role dealing with diverse engineering needs, including the ability to gather requirements, generate specification documents, interface with manufacturing partners, and meet with internal personnel to design, deploy and sustain solutions worldwide. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :
- Design and simulate RF / microwave circuits, design complete system products, and validate designs using measurement instrumentation
- Manage the lifecycle of products under development
- Own and implement individual technical project deliverables, guide technical decisions and driving technical issues to resolution
- Traveling as needed (possibly up to 10%) domestically and abroad in support of project objectives
