Benefits :Christian school seeking a passionate and innovative Computer Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. The ideal candidate will inspire young learners from Kindergarten through Fifth grade to explore the exciting world of technology, coding, and digital literacy."
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and deliver engaging STEM and computer science lessons to students from Kindergarten to Elementary grades.
- Develop age-appropriate curriculum that includes coding, robotics, digital literacy, and problem-solving skills.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
- Utilize technology and interactive tools to enhance the learning experience.
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate STEM concepts across different subjects.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to meet individual learning needs.
- Degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience teaching STEM subjects and computer science at the elementary level.
- Proficiency in coding languages and educational technology tools (e.g., Scratch, Blockly, robotics kits).
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a dynamic learning environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in written and verbal English
- Familiarity with project-based learning and inquiry-based instruction.
- Experience with diverse learning needs and differentiated instruction.
- Ability to inspire a love for learning and technology in young students.
- Teaching certification or licensure appropriate for the grade levels.
