We are a team of dedicated educators who have been working together to build a new Undergraduate College (UGC) at National Louis University (NLU) focused on building academic pathways and providing holistic student support to ensure students are career ready. Our undergraduate computer science and information systems (CSIS) majors serve first time freshmen as well as adult transfer students in blended format - on and off campus. Next year, we expect approximately 600 new Freshmen. Join us as we are grow!

Candidates should have experience in teaching Computer Science or Information Systems courses. This is a part-time adjunct position that requires instructors to collaborate on a regular basis with the support team that surrounds each student. This position requires on-site teaching at the Chicago campus for daytime courses delivery.
Essential Responsibilities
Collaborate to develop an effective student experience for students.
- Facilitate courses assigned by delivering instruction in blended and online environments.
- Maintain current and active knowledge in the expertise area that is reflected in instruction.
- Communicate professionally, relate well, and share a passion for college success for diverse learners.
- Participate in weekly meetings with coaches and assessors to report student progress and obstacles (SSC).
- Empower students to develop competency by sharing a passion for the subject and the skills.
- Promote student success by showing flexibility in delivery and work schedule to provide student support, as well as, exhibit a passion for teaching and engaging students in the learning process.
- Utilize technology-based teaching platforms, including an adaptive engine to aid students in the development of competencies.

Adjunct Faculty are paid by course or assignment each term. These rates vary by college and number of credit hours for the course / assignment. While the specific amount will be indicated in an electronic contract that is issued to the Adjunct Faculty member when the course is assigned, an overview of standard rate structure is available below :
