• Opportunities for Career Growth and DevelopmentWilldan is hiring a Construction Manager in the Central Valley / Northern Los Angeles area. In this role, you will be a crucial team member who identifies energy efficiency upgrade opportunities and monitors the installation of accepted projects. You may support one or more energy-efficiency programs.The Construction Manager will work closely with the Customer Acquisition, Engineering, and Project Management teams to identify and install energy efficiency upgrades. Completed energy efficiency projects will reduce energy consumption, promote sustainable practices, and serve under-resourced communities. Your responsibilities will include performing on-site energy assessments, generating customer proposals, engaging contractors, and monitoring project installations on-site. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Generate participant proposals in coordination with engineering and project management teams.
• Identifies and manages contractor relationships.
• Perform preconstruction site walks and post-construction final inspections of projects.
• Accelerate installation contractors’ permitting, scheduling, and installations of energy efficiency upgrades on customer properties.
• Perform energy assessments of participant facilities.
• Provide on-site monitoring of energy efficiency projects to facilitate high-quality installations and high rates of participant satisfaction.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding water heating, lighting, food service, and HVAC energy-saving technologies and recommendations.
• Assist in hiring and staff training.
• Represent Willdan and our clients at meetings, conferences, and industry events related to energy efficiency initiatives.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
• Travel will consist of both daytime and overnight travel as needed. Overnight travel may vary in frequency as business dictates.
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor as business needs dictate.
