Position Overview

The Estimator Assistant is responsible for coordinating the execution of bid documents that are accurate, complete and timely to ensure that PCC is a responsive bidder.

Primary Responsibilities

• Gathers signatures, notary stamps, bid bonds, key personnel resumes, past project experience information, insurance documents, and other related information for bid packages
• Assembles and conducts thorough proofreading of bid packages to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance of proposal requirements
• Ensure adherence to proposal deliverables and submission of high quality proposals
• Manages bid invitations, RFI(s), RFQ(s), addenda for all projects out to bid
• Manages, maintains, and organize subcontractor and vendor contacts
• Search for project bid opportunities and presents those opportunities to the estimators.
• Manages the bid schedule, estimating team calendar, and estimating drive folders
• Solicits subcontractors and suppliers for quotes and execute follow up phone calls as needed.
• Leads the charge on good faith efforts (GFEs) for projects with minority goals
• Assists with bid closeout process
• Gathers and submits all post-bid documents required by our clients
• Performs other duties as assigned
