Required Qualifications : Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.

• Degree in Architecture or Construction Engineering / Management.
• 5+ years’ experience in Construction Management.
• 5+ years’ experience performing construction inspections for city, state or federal agencies.
• Knowledge of the National Fire Protection Association Life Safety Code.
• Must have experience coordinating testing activities with a general contractor, consultants and testing lab.
• Must be skilled in preparing reports, letters, and memos.
• Must have experience using various standard materials, methods, equipment and tools used for construction inspection processes.
• Must have the ability to read and understand contract documents, technical manuals, electronic devices / gauges, and test data.
• Must be able to explain owner’s (TXST) concerns, issues, and positions regarding construction matters.
