The SPLC seeks a Content Developer & Analyst passionate about civic and political action education for everyone!
The Content Developer and Analyst is responsible for advancing Learning for Justice’s education and advocacy efforts through development of learning content and resources for multiple platforms and audiences. They research and write comprehensive publications, design courses, and implement strategies for analyzing content and community program alignment.

What You'll Do
Research , write and develop resource publications, courses, learning experiences, and more for in-person engagement and online education for multiple audiences.
Collaborate in strategies to gather information, dialogue with, and analyze community needs, interests and aspirations to inform the development of robust community education programs.
Contribute to the overall design of resource and learning content, including pedagogical strategies, structure, topic selection and other factors in alignment with research-based practices.
Design and facilitate learning experiences, and use information gathering strategies to analyze content and community alignment.
Revise and edit existing learning materials to ensure quality, accuracy, and fit the style and philosophy of the program.
Manage project plans and progress updates for all assigned projects, coordinating work across internal team and external stakeholders.
Collaborate on development of multimedia learning experiences and contribute to informational and promotional campaigns in a creative and editorial capacity.
Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job.
Minimum Qualifications
We are committed to equitable hiring practices; therefore, you must meet the minimum qualifications to be considered for the role.
- Minimum 7 years of demonstrated research, writing, and content and curriculum development experience for community education program initiatives and K-12 education;
- 2 years K-12 education teaching experience; and
- High School Diploma or GED.
Compensation & Benefits
This is an exempt role and the minimum starting salary is $84,905 annually. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
