As the nation's #1 online retailer of pro audio gear and musical instruments, Sweetwater is focused on continuing to build a world-class team of music-loving, passionate individuals in each area of the company. Our business is growing at an incredible rate, and we are looking for a Corporate Accountant II to join Sweetwater's Accounting team to support our growing organization!  The Corporate Accountant II will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position is ideal for a driven professional who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to take on greater responsibility while mentoring junior team members.

Job Responsibilities :

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies across sub-ledgers, reports, and systems, collaborating with teams across the organization.
• Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of financial results.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing supporting documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
• Identify process improvements, contribute to policy and procedure development, and support system enhancements.
• Partner with FP&A and business leaders to analyze budget fluctuations and provide insight into financial results.
• Take ownership of special projects and ad-hoc reporting that support business growth and decision-making.
• Coach, mentor, and serve as a resource to junior accounting staff.
