Position Title : Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Dermatology

Healthcare Setting : On-site dermatology clinic (medical dermatology, not cosmetic)

Location : Fontana, California 92335 (Southern California healthcare jobs)

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM (full-time, 8-hour shifts)

Assignment Duration : 6 months (ASAP start through January 24, 2026)

Patient Volume : 24–26 patients per day (15-minute appointments, built-in documentation time)

EMR System : EPIC (Health Connect)

Call Requirement : No call

Hourly Pay Rate : $200.00 / hour

Estimated Weekly Pay : $4,660 – $5,000

Qualifications – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Active and unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (required)

National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in dermatology or related medical field

Vaccination preferred; waivers considered

Ability to complete healthcare credentialing (estimated 12 weeks)

Responsibilities – Dermatology Clinical Support

Perform comprehensive skin screenings and dermatologic assessments

Conduct biopsies and manage common dermatological conditions (e.g., rash, acne, Accutane management)

Administer Botox injections for hyperhidrosis (medical, non-cosmetic; experience a plus)

Efficiently document patient encounters using EPIC EMR

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care to a diverse population

Collaborate with clinic staff and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
