the job :

As a Senior Digital Designer, you will be responsible for creating fresh, engaging, and effective web and graphic experiences for Amika's digital presence. This includes designing digital layouts, developing content for seasonal campaigns and product launches, and producing animated assets. You will keep a sharp eye on trends and innovation in digital marketing spaces, bringing a sense of creativity and playfulness to the beauty industry.

salary : up to $95,000 + bonus

location : onsite 3 days a week (must be based in New York + have the right to work in the US)

what you'll do :

• Apply innovative thinking and creativity to design problems from conception to production for digital visual design (UI).
• Design for homepage updates, landing pages, PDPs, and campaign-driven site experiences.
• Execute infographic design, digital marketing assets, emails, and other marketing initiatives.
• Partner with the Senior Digital Art Director to develop and maintain a comprehensive digital template library, covering :
• Ecommerce (homepage, landing pages, PDPs)
• Owned social media (carousels, stories, infographics, etc.)
• Earned media (influencer content guidelines and templates)
• Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and devices while pushing the aesthetic to be modern, eye-catching, and user-friendly.
• Collaborate with UX designers and other creative team members to unify visual style and functionality across consumer and professional digital touchpoints.
• Work closely with project managers, e-commerce, and marketing teams to gather requirements, technical specs, and timelines for each project.
• Stay current with trends in digital practices and innovations within the beauty industry.
