General Summary of Position
The International Diversity & Inclusion Associate Director supports the implementation of global DEI strategies with a particular focus on international programs. The role collaborates with the Director of Global Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DGDEI) to develop policies, training programs, and data analysis frameworks for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within AFSC's global operations.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Strategic Plan Implementation
- In collaboration with DGDEI develop strategies, goals, and approaches for international programs, ensuring alignment with AFSC's global strategic plan.
- Address issues including colonialism, imperialism, tribal identity and ethnicity, religious tolerance, and gender discrimination.
Training & Capacity Building
Governance & Compliance
Affinity Groups & Employee Engagement
DEI Communications & Language Justice
Data Analysis & Reporting
Policy Development & Conflict Resolution
Budget & Financial Oversight
Supervisory / Management Requirements
No direct supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
Understanding of and commitment to the principles, concerns, and considerations of AFSC in regard to issues of race, class, nationality, religion, age, gender and sexual orientation, and disabilities.

Compensation
The AFSC offers a competitive Total Rewards package. This position is Salary Family : International Program Job Code Associate Director, Minimum Starting Salary $90,000 - $120,000. Comprehensive medical and hospitalization plan; term life, STD & LTD, plus other benefits including vacation, PTO, sabbaticals, extended leaves, holidays, participation in country specific programs.
