Responsibilities

Job Summary

IES Residential is looking for dependable and hardworking Electrician Helpers to assist with residential electrical projects in Utah. This role supports licensed electricians in the rough-in, installation, and finish phases of electrical work. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, follows directions well, and works safely in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist electricians during rough-in by measuring, cutting, and bending wire using hand and power tools.

Help install electrical components including outlets, lights, switches, and fixtures.

Carry, hold, and organize materials required for completing projects.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Communicate effectively with team members and take direction from supervisors and licensed electricians.

Promptly report any unsafe working conditions or incidents to the appropriate person.

Qualifications

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Willingness to travel occasionally and work in various locations as needed.

Ability to pass all required safety training, background checks, and drug screening .

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.

Basic problem-solving and organizational skills.

Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.

Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.

Demonstrated leadership potential is a bonus.
