We are seeking a Combat Systems Alignment Technician

Located on site at NSWC PHD Port Hueneme, CA

ESN is seeking Technicians to provide U.S. Navy Combat Systems engineering and technical support to Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme (NSWC PHD), Combat Systems Alignment Branch.

Responsibilities include :

• Accomplishing data collecting using precision leveling equipment / systems, fixtures, and equipment for alignment of combat and weapon systems aboard ship.
• Setting up and properly operating various alignment equipment in accordance to prescribed methods. Functioning within an alignment team in one of several roles; instrument person, data recorder or Analog / Digital Inclination Data System operator.
• Repairing, replacing, and adjusting equipment or components, replacing worn parts such as gaskets and seals.
• Inspecting components of equipment for accurate assembly and for physical defects such as loose screws, nuts connections and frayed wires.
• Analyzing, compiling, and providing data collection results inputs to final Combat System Alignment Reports and other documentation.
