Provide support in executing financial strategies, provide financial insights and recommendations and perform additional finance-related duties as assigned. Financial Acumen - Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, budgeting and forecasting. Problem Solving and Decision Making Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement financial solutions. The Finance Director is responsible for assisting with overseeing the churchs financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting, compliance with financial policies, and efficiency in financial management. This role supports the Associate Pastor of Finance by implementing financial strategies, preparing reports, and assist with ensuring the financial stability of the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Operations & Accounting (40%)
- Oversee daily financial transactions, approvals of accounts payables, checks, wires and ACH transactions. Lead month-end and year-end closing, oversee accurate record-keeping and support external audits.
