Must have good visual ability for close-up observations and use of analytical and control equipment Must have good depth perception and ability to distinguish different colors. Must have hearing sufficient to hear verbal and audible signals at a moderate distance. Must be conditioned to sustain work in a manufacturing environment that ranges in temperature from 55oF - 100oF. Must have a valid Driver's License. Must have reading ability sufficient to read technical manuals, mechanical and electrical drawings, codes, and other technical materials. Must have writing ability sufficient to write correspondence and instructions. Must have good communication skills to deal with the public and to work cooperatively with sales force and other company employees. The Manufacturing Technician I will responsible for assembling water treatment equipment in our Macon, GA plant.

Responsibilities
- Assemble pretreatment and chemical feed equipment based on drawings and instructions provided by the Engineering Department.
- Interconnect pretreatment and chemical feed systems using SCH 80 PVC, galvanized, and stainless steel pipes.
- Connect electrical control systems using basic wiring techniques.
- Program microprocessor-based pretreatment and chemical feed equipment.
- Breakdown assembled equipment and package for shipment.
- Work closely with other Techs to assemble pretreatment and chemical feed systems.
- Loading / unloading tractor trailers
- Packing equipment
- Complete special projects set forth by Engineering Manager and Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Other projects and duties as assigned by manager.
